We are Kingston Roller Derby! Home of the Skateful Dead, Rogue Warriors, and the Rolling Rebellion (jrs). As they had hoped, Kingston was ready for derby.
The idea for a Kingston roller derby league had been floating around for a few years when, in the fall of 2009, three local derby fanatics decided it was time to stop talking and give it a go. The trio set a couple of registration dates in March 2010, hoping to get 20 skaters so that they could cover the rink rental costs. By the end of the second night, over 60 skaters had signed up. It’s almost time!!! Our final bout of the year is Back to Cruel on September 12 against Hogtown Roller Derby !
Doors open at 3pm and first whistle is at 4pm! Advanced tickets can be purchased through the link in our bio, or at the door day of! In addition, $2 from each ticket will go towards our two juniors Slamberry Jam and Frostbyte who are on Team Canada to help with their travel costs to the World Cup!
Looking to get in on more of the action? We’ll be looking for volunteers to help out!
Don’t know how to skate but this seems like fun? Join our 101 class starting September 22! Learn how to skate and play derby with us!!

ROLLER DERBY 101!!
Have you ever wanted to learn to skate, make awesome friends, and play roller derby? Well here’s your chance!
From September 19 to December 19, we are running an intro to roller derby program! You will learn to skate and how to play! No gear? No problem, you can borrow from us!

14 weeks starting off learning to skate and then moving into roller derby specifics.

We are back at the Odessa Fairgrounds this evening 6:30-7:30 and every Wednesday until August 26th.
If you’ve got skates or rollerblades come join us for a golden hour skate! This is a great time to work on skills, learn new tricks, get tips and just socialize with others in our skate community.
We are requesting folks pitch in whatever they can to go towards the rental (it costs $43 for the hour), but we also won’t turn folks away if they can’t contribute.
It’s a beautiful day and we hope to see folks out!
