Our vision is one, strong, sustainable recreational and competitive gymnastics club for Kingston that actively promotes the values of the Kingston Gymnastics Club. Programming:
BABYNASTICS
8 to 15 months, with Parent or Caregiver - 45 minutes
Children and parents move in small groups around the gym with a certified coach. Each circuit consists of a session on floor, bars, beam, vault, and trampoline. These classes are a great way to promote fitness and togetherness with little ones and their parent/guardian. TALL & SMALL
16 months to 3 years, with Parent or Caregiver— 1 hour
This popular program includes motor development, gymnastics basics and exploration activities to promote fun and healthy physical development. Each hour long class makes use of weekly themes, music and equipment made just for kids. KINDERGYM
3 to 5 years— 1 hour
Kindergym encourages the development of co-ordination, balance, fitness and basic gymnastic skills in an enjoyable, motivating way. Our smaller equipment helps to boost confidence and allows children to explore and learn gymnastic skills with greater independence. ADVANCED KINDERGYM
4-6 years - invitation only
This program provides a greater challenge for boys and girls ages 4-6 who are working on level Red or higher, or have been recommended by their coach. This level system focus on learning strong fundamentals with an introduction to basic conditioning and stretching exercises. RECREATIONAL
6 to 9 and 7 to 12 years—1 1/2 hours
Our Rec. classes offer girls and boys the opportunity to work on physical development and gymnastic skills in a friendly and challenging atmosphere. The programs are designed to allow each gymnast to progress through the CANGYM Level System according to their interest and ability. No experience is necessary at any age. ADVANCED RECREATIONAL
Ages 6 + - 1 1/2 hours
These groups train twice per week, and are working on the higher levels of the CANGYM Program. Placement in Advanced Rec. is by selection only. PRIVATE LESSONS
KGC offers Private (one on one) and Semi-Private (two to one or three to one) classes. Each class is one hour in length with a
Level 2 Certified Coach. These classes are ideal for those who wish to focus on learning or improving their tumbling. This gives
the participant(s) an opportunity to work closely with a Coach to achieve specific skills and goals. COMPETITIVE & PRE-COMPETITIVE
We have a variety of Competitive & Pre-Competitive teams for girls ages 5.5 years and older. No experience is necessary at the Pre-Competitive level. Please call the office for a tryout appointment. CAMP
For Girls and Boys ages 4-12. Stay fit and have fun over Christmas break, March break, and the summer holidays with the Kingston Gymnastics Club’s camp! Join us for a whole week, a day, or half a day! Campers will be divided into age appropriate groups where they will learn and improve gymnastics skills, have fun playing indoor and outdoor games, and have a chance to be creative in the craft room! Each week has a different theme and activities! Campers go on a special field trip every Wednesday during the summer as well! PARTIES
Celebrate your child’s birthday or special event with a party at our facility! The partygoers will have a funtastic time exploring the bars, beams, vault, spring floor, trampoline and in-ground foam pit with the guidance of a certified coach.Along with the chance to learn some gymnastics and have a lot of fun, we offer:
Balloons for all participants
A decorated party room for food, cake, games and gift opening. The room includes decorations, table cloth, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and kettle
Not included: food, plates, napkins, cutlery etc…
FIELD TRIPS
Field trips are offered to schools, daycare, nursery school and home school groups. Field trips at Kingston Gymnastic Club are designed to meet various physical education curriculum, movement exploration curriculum or just to have some fun as a special outing! Cost is $5.00 per student.
