Thanks everyone who came out to the Cintas Fort Henry Hill Climb this evening. Here's a few photos from the event; please feel free to share any of yours.
Thank you to Cintas, our perennial sponsor of the Hill Climb. Their generous contribution is what allows us to secure this phenomenal, and very unique, race venue.
We hope you all enjoyed the race, and we'll see you tomorrow for the time trial and criterium. Make sure you read the race email for tomorrow; there is some very important information contained within it.

Time Trial Course Update

We've made an adjustment to this year's time trial course following some unexpected road maintenance earlier this week.

The City completed a tar-and-gravel treatment on one of the roads included in the original route. While this meant a last minute scramble to revise our plans, rider safety is our top priority. As a result, the time trial will now be 15 km instead of the originally planned 30 km.

The revised course still includes part of the original route and has one significant advantage: it is entirely on roads that were newly paved less than two years ago, providing a smooth, fast racing surface from start to finish.

Whether you were hoping for a longer test or prefer the shorter, high-intensity effort, we're confident the revised course will provide a fair and exciting race.

We appreciate everyone's understanding and look forward to seeing you on the start ramp!

Beyond the racing, our event is about giving back.

The race is held in support of the Matthew Dawe Memorial Fund, established in memory of Captain Matthew Dawe, PPCLI and RMC Class of 2004, who was killed while leading an operation near Kandahar, Afghanistan, on July 4, 2007.

The fund serves as an endowment, with its proceeds supporting programs at the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston & Area, helping create opportunities for local youth.

Thanks to the support of our riders, volunteers, sponsors, and community, we were proud to contribute $3,000 to the fund last year.

Every registration helps make a difference, and we're honoured to continue supporting this important legacy.

With the race approaching, things are coming together nicely, and the forecast is looking pretty much ideal for racing.

We’re also happy to share that we’ve now passed 100 individuals entered, a great milestone and a big improvement over the same time last year.

With solid early registration and, hopefully, perfect conditions, this year’s event is shaping up to be a great one.

Thanks to everyone who’s already registered; we’ll see you all soon!

We'd like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who has already registered for this year's race and taken advantage of our early-bird pricings.

While the discounts are our way of rewarding riders who commit early, your registration provides value far beyond the entry fee. Early entries help us cover up-front event costs, secure services and equipment, finalize logistics, and plan with confidence. They also help demonstrate to our sponsors, volunteers, and host communities that the event is on track for another strong year.

We know it's tempting to wait until the final registration deadline, and many riders do! That's why we especially appreciate those who committed early and put their trust in us.

Simply put, your support helps make the event possible long before the first rider rolls up to the start line.

Thank you for your support, your enthusiasm, and for being part of the cycling community that keeps this event thriving. We can't wait to see you on race day!

Kingston Stage Race — Limestone City Cycling 01/19/2026

It's happening! Planning has begun for the 2026 edition. Mark you calendars for 3-5 July. Based on feedback from last year, we are working hard to move the criterium to downtown Kingston, we will have awards for all stages, and GC will be based on a points system rather than time. Cheap accommodations will be available in the Queen's Residence (~$130). Keep an eye on this page or LCC's website for details as they emerge.
