One month away! Don't miss this classic camping trip to Schooner Lake. Thursday Sep 17 - Mon Sep 21st. It is one of the prettiest camp sites in Ontario which is why the club has been going there for decades. There are several challenging but very rewarding hikes to some look outs. If water levels permit it may be possible to paddle Mackie Creek to Centennial Lake. All the amazing details are available on our website and signup through Teamup.

And just like that… the last boat is home. ❤️🚣🏁

What. A. Day.

From the first strokes this morning to the final paddlers crossing the line tonight, we watched something pretty incredible unfold along the Rideau.

To our volunteers who gave their time, energy and approximately seventeen thousand smiles along the way: thank you!

To the crews who fed, refilled, carried, drove, encouraged, problem-solved and somehow always seemed to be exactly where they needed to be: thank you!

To the families, friends and supporters who cheered at locks, followed along from home and made every arrival feel like a celebration: thank you!

And most importantly, to our racers:

You were extraordinary.

You pushed. You hurt. You laughed. You struggled. You helped each other. You kept putting the paddle back in the water. And eventually, every single one of you came home. ❤️

Our final finisher may have summed up K2O best when they compared it to childbirth:

It hurts so much while you’re doing it that you swear you are NEVER doing this again.

Then a little time passes…

You forget just enough about the pain.

You remember how incredible the experience was.

And somehow…

you sign up to do it all over again next year. 😂

So rest those arms. Take care of those hands. Enjoy what you accomplished today.

We’ll give you a few months to forget.
