It is that time again!
Time for the Annual General Meeting (AGM)!
As in previous years, this meeting will be held on the same day as our year-end race event.

🏁Racing:
9:00 am – Pedal practice
9:40 am – Balance bike practice
10:00 am – Racing (approximate time)
11:00 am – Awards (Please check out our social media accounts to find out more about awards and voting for this year! Coming soon!)
12:00pm – Lunch and AGM hosted by the President. Riders will be provided with a hot dog, drink and freezie.
📝AGM Agenda:
· Minutes of the last AGM Business arising from last AGM Approval of minutes from the last AGM Annual reports from Executives (President and Treasurer)
· Annual reports of Directors and Committees Report of the Nominating Committee
· Election of new Board of Directors
· Adjournment 1:00 pm – Fun races and prizes!
✅️Board of Directors Nominations:
As a volunteer-run organization dedicated to promoting healthy, active living and competitive BMX racing at all levels, we rely on passionate community members to help us grow and thrive. If you're enthusiastic about the sport of BMX and want to make a difference in our local riding community, we encourage you to get involved!
The following positions will be voted on at the AGM.
One vote is allocated to each KBMX rider (or their family member).
· President/Track Operator – 3-year term
· Race Director – 2-year term
· Track Director – 2-year term
· Secretary – 2-year term
We will also have a few Director-at-Large positions available. If you are interested in any of the following positions, please let us know using the jotform. These positions are not voted on and are chosen by the Board.
· Co-canteen Coordinator – 1 year term
· Special Events Coordinator – 1 year term
⁉️Who Can Be Nominated?
To be eligible, nominees must:
· Be a current member/or their rider of Kingston BMX, and
· Be in good standing with the association.
Whether you're a long-time supporter or new to the sport, this is your opportunity to contribute your time, skills, and passion to help shape the future of BMX in Kingston.

Reminders:
💫Bring your USA/Canada BMX license number (makes registration at the track easier)
💫Check that your bike is in good working order
💫Ensure that your plate is firmly affixed to your bike with your number clearly visible (need a plate, see registration)
💫Dress to race- wear a long-sleeved shirt or jersey, pants, closed-toe shoes, a helmet (full face for pedal racers), and gloves (optional, but STRONGLY recommended!

⚠️This post is for our Monday night Intro to BMX and Skills Development Programs!
Intro: if you missed last week due to the confusion, you are welcome to attend monday the 17th ❤️ we apologize for any confusion caused. This will also be the last week for Intro.
Skills: This is the last week of programming. There will be no more Skills development program after the 17th.
Open Practice runs 5:30-6:30 Thursday evenings for any riders that would like to continue working on their skills at their own pace!
