March marks Irish Heritage Month, offering an opportunity to reflect on the history, traditions and values Irish communities bring to Canada.

Irish heritage can be seen in storytelling, music, community spirit and a strong sense of belonging that continues to influence local life today.

We encourage the community to honour these traditions, learn more about Irish culture and join in celebrating the contributions that help make our community vibrant and inclusive.

As part of this celebration, the Harp of Tara is hosting a St. Patrick’s Ceili on March 14, highlighting Irish heritage through live music, dance, dinner and community connection. For more information, please visit:

Come join us in beautiful Tamworth as the village celebrates its 175th anniversary. The event will feature a variety of displays and activities for all ages, as well as performances by Kelli Trottier and Sean McCann. The Harp of Tara dancers, the McGrath School of Irish Dance, and the Seventh Town Céilí Band will be performing from 12:00-1:00.
