S.P.A.R.C. R/C Racing

Hello Racers. Another awesome race day in the books. HUGE thanks to all who have and continue to support us. So a few things I would like to announce.

After some discussions and work, for the Summer Shootout, we will be able to FINALLY have camping. There will be a very strict guideline to follow to adhere to our fire plan. We will have a picture posted soon that will show what we mean. This also means that we will need cars to have a specific parking area that they be directed to park in. This allows more room to have tents/trailers and also ensures no one gets boxed in. This is a huge step in the right direction for us but we have to make sure we follow the guidelines laid out to the letter.

Also starting at shootout, we will also have food service back available at the track. Colasantis has been dealing a severe short staff issue so we have been working extremely hard to get this back so this will also help show our support of Colasantis.

Food will be as follows;

1 topping pizza large @ $25.00
3 piece chicken dinner $15.00

Now we will be alternating when we will do each food offering as to not get too confusing when doing orders. Will post ahead of time.

I know everyone has been very very patient with us trying to get this done and we very much appreciate it. Thanks everyone and we will have the summer shootout info up and posted early this week.

Results From Race 1

Racers you can either pay cash on race day or EMT race fees to [email protected]

Registration cost is as follows;

1st class - $20
2nd class - $10
3 or more classes - $5
Novice - $5

Family discount- 5$ for youth (age 15 and younger) With parent entry

Itinerary for Sundays race day

Track will be open for practice (as long as it's dry) for 730 am.

Mike Moore will be running registration as per usual so once he arrives and opens registration, please register as soon as possible.

Registration cost is $20 for first class, 10 for 2nd, 5 ant additonal

First quals to start no later then 10am. 2 rocket rounds of quals. All quals to be 5 minute races.

Mains to follow. Time to be determined by entries and how the quals go. Electric classes with 8 or more entries will run double A Mains. 7 or less will run Single A Mains. 10th scale electric Mains to run 7 minutes. 8th scale electric A's will be 10, B Mains 7 mins. Nitro A main will be 25 mins. B to run 15 mins.

The first day may take a little longer depending on if there are any hiccups so that may adjust the times a little depending on what happens.

Will have more info as far as if lunch will be available to order or not.

After speaking with Colasantis, they aren't allowing us to permit camping just yet. Their insurance isn't fully covering it at this time.

Racers. Before you know it, we will be at Race #1. May 15th is just right around the corner. Gets me all excited to ask this, but whose in to sling some dirt?

You guys were awesome today. Cleaned up the leaves and sticks, groomed the track and we started a new addition to the drivers stand. No more umbrellas over your head, we will have a roof now.

Sorry racers we are planning track cleanup for Saturday. Start around 9am. I realize I forgot to put a day and time
