🚴‍♀️☀️ Last-Minute Bike Ride Invitation! ☀️🚴‍♂️
Sorry for the short notice, but tomorrow's weather is looking AWESOME, and since June is Bike Month, we thought we'd put this invitation out there! 😎
Tomorrow morning, we'll be leading a comfortable pace ride around the 55 km Windsor Cycling Loop. A couple of runners from the Shores of Erie Running Club, and perhaps some others will be joining us.
📍 Start Location: Parking lot across from Tim Hortons at the junction of Lauzon Parkway and Forest Glade Drive
⏰ Departure Time: 9:00 AM sharp (so arrive ~8:30-8:45 to be ready)
We'll be riding at a comfortable pace of approximately 20 km/h and plan to make 2–3 rest stops, including a quick stop for a snack or bite to eat along the way. 🍎☕
The route is designed to be very comfortable, with over 90% of the ride following dedicated cycling facilities. (And ~99% paved) That said, there are a few sections where we'll be sharing the road with motorists, and of course, 55 km is still a respectable distance. 🚲
🪖 Helmet, water bottle, and other ride essentials are strongly recommended. Ride at your own risk - to ride with us.
This is an informal, unsupported (except for being led) "come if you can" ride. If you don't have other plans, we'd be happy to have you along! 😊
Just show up ready to roll by 9:00 AM, and you're welcome to join the adventure! Experienced riders who also know the route and can lend a hand are doubly welcome!!

A fun, leisurely ride around Kingsville with stops at Migration Festival sites. Mix of on-road and gravel sections — best for average to experienced riders.

🎃 Jack Miner & Harvest Bike Tour
📅 Sunday, October 19 | 1–3 PM
📍 Departs from the Carnegie Arts & Visitor Centre
Celebrate the harvest season with stops at a pumpkin farm and the Jack Miner Migratory Bird Sanctuary. About 20 km round trip, suitable for intermediate to higher-level riders.

Hit the Greenway this week! 🌿🚴‍♀️

The Chrysler Canada Greenway is one of our favourite ways to explore the County — 48 km of scenic trail stretching from Oldcastle to Ruthven, winding through farmland, forests, and charming small towns. 🍁✨

With five community entrances, it’s easy to make your ride as long or short as you like — or hop off to explore local gems in Harrow, Kingsville, or Ruthven, from bike-friendly wineries and breweries to farm stands and cafes. Don’t miss the paved 1 km connector to Sadler’s Pond Park in Essex, the most northerly entrance to this section of trail. 🌾

It’s the perfect trail to soak up the beauty of fall.
