π΄ββοΈβοΈ Last-Minute Bike Ride Invitation! βοΈπ΄ββοΈ
Sorry for the short notice, but tomorrow's weather is looking AWESOME, and since June is Bike Month, we thought we'd put this invitation out there! π
Tomorrow morning, we'll be leading a comfortable pace ride around the 55 km Windsor Cycling Loop. A couple of runners from the Shores of Erie Running Club, and perhaps some others will be joining us.
π Start Location: Parking lot across from Tim Hortons at the junction of Lauzon Parkway and Forest Glade Drive
β° Departure Time: 9:00 AM sharp (so arrive ~8:30-8:45 to be ready)
We'll be riding at a comfortable pace of approximately 20 km/h and plan to make 2β3 rest stops, including a quick stop for a snack or bite to eat along the way. πβ
The route is designed to be very comfortable, with over 90% of the ride following dedicated cycling facilities. (And ~99% paved) That said, there are a few sections where we'll be sharing the road with motorists, and of course, 55 km is still a respectable distance. π²
πͺ Helmet, water bottle, and other ride essentials are strongly recommended. Ride at your own risk - to ride with us.
This is an informal, unsupported (except for being led) "come if you can" ride. If you don't have other plans, we'd be happy to have you along! π
Just show up ready to roll by 9:00 AM, and you're welcome to join the adventure! Experienced riders who also know the route and can lend a hand are doubly welcome!!

Before you hang up the helmet for the season, give your bike a little fall love. ππ΄ββοΈ
A quick tune-up now means smoother rides for those last golden fall days β and an even smoother start when spring rolls back around. π
Weβll check your brakes, gears, and tires so you can ride confidently into the cooler months (and save yourself a few surprises next year). π
Stop by and letβs keep your wheels rolling strong!

Hit the Greenway this week! πΏπ΄ββοΈ
The Chrysler Canada Greenway is one of our favourite ways to explore the County β 48 km of scenic trail stretching from Oldcastle to Ruthven, winding through farmland, forests, and charming small towns. πβ¨
With five community entrances, itβs easy to make your ride as long or short as you like β or hop off to explore local gems in Harrow, Kingsville, or Ruthven, from bike-friendly wineries and breweries to farm stands and cafes. Donβt miss the paved 1 km connector to Sadlerβs Pond Park in Essex, the most northerly entrance to this section of trail. πΎ
Itβs the perfect trail to soak up the beauty of fall.
