WHERE CAN KARATE TAKE YOU?
Literally around the world. Last weekend Sensei Perry and Ms. Gaukrodger travelled to Guadalajara, Mexico to compete with the best in the world at WKF Series A. Congratulations to our athletes on achieving their goals and seeing a new part of the world!

Next up... Seven Team Driftwood members travel with WKC Canada to Spain for WKC World Championships in October.

The is once again challenging the community to take part in its ninth annual Backpack Challenge.

The challenge encourages businesses and residents to purchase new backpacks, lunch bags, school supplies, or gift cards (Winners and Walmart are perfect!) to be donated to children and families in need.

Drop off your donations to Driftwood Martial Arts by August 14.

It's been another busy year! Wishing Kyoshi Adette Rice the happiest of birthdays!

What a day at the The Windsor Open Karate Championships.

Driftwood sent a compliment of 30 athletes and came home with 30 gold, 14 silver, and 13 bronze medals... and TWO GRAND CHAMPIONS. Even Kyoshi Rice received an award for Driftwood's long history of support for this event. Amazing job team!

WKC Nationals in Ottawa. What an amazing weekend! One National Champion, one silver medalist, two bronze medallists and a total of seven Driftwood athletes qualified for World Championships in Spain this coming October. We're very proud of everyone's efforts. Can't wait to go to Chiclana, Spain!
