PAT IS BACK! 🚨

We’ve signed 2009-born foward Patrick Nagy to the EPIC Academy 18U AAA Prep team for the 2026-2027 season!

Patrick sets the tone with his high motor and compete level. He’s an agile forward who uses his skating well to create space, and put himself and his teammates in positions to score. His work ethic shows every shift, whether he’s chasing down pucks, supporting his teammates, or finding ways to create offensively. He plays with a lot of energy making him valuable on special teams. Patrick brings a personality that makes him a great teammate to have around. He’s always making the guys laugh, and making it enjoyable to come to the rink.

EPIC Academy alumni Bruce Perrott and Theo Finch went head-to-head for the first time in the GOHL during St. Thomas’ home opener on Friday night.

It’s always great to see former athletes continuing to compete, develop, and take the next step in their hockey careers.

CT dives into Dorchester! 🐬

Congratulations to 18U forward Carson Thompson on signing with the PJHL’s Dorchester Dolphins for the 2026-2027 season!

Carson was a glue guy for our group all season. He was always making the guys laugh, and bringing good energy to the rink. On the ice, he was always one of the first players to stand up for a teammate and brought a sense of toughness and protection that allowed the guys around him to play their game. Carson came up big for us late in games when we needed it, finishing the season with 9 goals and 22 assists for 31 points in 47 games.

We are extremely proud of the commitment Carson has shown in his development both on and off the ice. We wish him continued success as he takes the next step in his hockey journey.

Leeds just got Ice-cold! 🥶

Congratulations to 16U forward Josh Hartley on signing with the NIHL’s Leeds Knights for the 2026-2027 season!

Josh was one of the most impressive development stories in our program last season. As the season went on, he became more confident with the puck, made quicker reads, and continued to find ways to impact games. That growth showed on the scoresheet as well, with Josh finishing the year with 16 goals and 29 assists for 45 points in 48 games. He became an important part of our lineup and played a big role in the championship run our program put together.

We are extremely proud of the commitment Josh has shown in his development both on and off the ice. We wish him continued success as he takes the next step in his hockey journey.

Jayden joins the Dolphins! 🐬

Congratulations to 18U forward Jayden Hazelwood on signing with the PJHL’s Dorchester Dolphins for the 2026-2027 season!

Jayden was a big part of our group last season, wearing the “C” with our blue alternate jerseys and becoming someone a lot of the younger guys looked up to. He also had a great year offensively, putting up 22 goals and 34 assists for 56 points in 42 games. He was strong in the faceoff circle and could be counted on gaining posession in big moments. Off the ice, Jayden always kept the room in a good mood and brought a lot of positive energy to our program.

We are extremely proud of the commitment Jayden has shown in his development both on and off the ice. We wish him continued success as he takes the next step in his hockey journey.

Barnaby to Sarnia! ✍️

Congratulations to 18U defensemen Joe Barnaby on signing with the GOHL’s Sarnia Legionnaires for the 2026-2027 season!

Joe was a great addition to our program last season and brought a lot of energy to the group. He is a versatile defenseman who can contribute in a number of different situations and has the ability to impact the game at both ends of the ice. Joe moves the puck well, sees the ice effectively, and can help create offense from the back end through his passing, mobility, and willingness to get involved in the play. Defensively, he competes hard, uses his stick well, and does a good job reading plays as they develop. Off the ice, Joe was a great teammate and a positive presence in the dressing room. He supported the guys around him, came to the rink with a good attitude, and helped make the overall experience better for everyone.

We are extremely proud of the commitment Joe has shown in his development both on and off the ice. We wish him continued success as he takes the next step in his hockey journey.
