Cap off with an evening of live music and community celebration.

The concert is part of Lacombe's Alberta Day festivities, supported by the Government of Alberta and hosted for the third time through provincial Alberta Day funding received by the City.

On September 20, you're invited to the Woodland Sanctuary beginning at 6:30pm, to spend some meditative and creative time in nature. Bring a journal, art supplies, or just yourself. A chair and snacks are welcome too.

After a fantastic Information Night in June, we're excited to take the next step.

Men's Sheds are built by local men, for local men—creating a welcoming place to connect, share skills, work on projects, and build friendships.

Now it's time to see if our community is ready to make that vision a reality.

If you're interested in helping shape what Men's Sheds could become in Lacombe, we'd love to have you join us for our Community Planning Night. Together, we'll discuss ideas, form a committee, and explore the next steps toward bringing a Men's Shed to our community.

⚠️ Heads up, drivers!

Alberta Transportation has advised that the northbound Highway 2 bridge at Highway 12, west of Lacombe, will be closed overnight for scheduled maintenance work from 9:00 p.m. on August 19 to 5:30 a.m. on August 20.

During this time, northbound traffic will be redirected onto the southbound bridge, with one lane maintained in each direction.

Following the overnight closure, a 50 km/h speed limit will remain in effect through the work zone for 24 hours after the bridge reopens, until approximately 5:30 a.m. on August 21.

Please allow extra travel time, follow all posted signage, and drive safe, Lacombe! 🚗

YourAlberta (Government of Alberta) will be hosting a Town Hall in Lacombe on Wednesday evening to listen to Albertans' concerns, answer questions, and share information about AI data centres.
