Lacombe Regional Waste Services Commission is holding a Household Hazardous Waste Round Up in the City of Lacombe on September 19, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at 5395 Len Thompson Drive at the City's Operation Building.

On September 20, you're invited to the Woodland Sanctuary beginning at 6:30pm, to spend some meditative and creative time in nature. Bring a journal, art supplies, or just yourself. A chair and snacks are welcome too.

Men's Sheds are built by local men, for local menβcreating a welcoming place to connect, share skills, work on projects, and build friendships.
Now it's time to see if our community is ready to make that vision a reality.

β οΈ Heads up, drivers!
Alberta Transportation has advised that the northbound Highway 2 bridge at Highway 12, west of Lacombe, will be closed overnight for scheduled maintenance work from 9:00 p.m. on August 19 to 5:30 a.m. on August 20.
During this time, northbound traffic will be redirected onto the southbound bridge, with one lane maintained in each direction.
Following the overnight closure, a 50 km/h speed limit will remain in effect through the work zone for 24 hours after the bridge reopens, until approximately 5:30 a.m. on August 21.
Please allow extra travel time, follow all posted signage, and drive safe, Lacombe! π
