The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund opens August 1!

Eligible families can apply to receive up to $500 per player to help cover hockey registration fees for Hockey Canada-sanctioned associations. 🙌

Applications will be accepted until our $1.3 million in available funding has been fully allocated. Be sure to apply early!

We can’t wait to help get more kids get on the ice this season. ❤️

Les familles admissibles peuvent recevoir jusqu’à 500 $ par enfant pour aider à couvrir les frais d’inscription au hockey auprès d’une association sanctionnée par Hockey Canada. 🙌

📢 Important Notice for LMHA Families 📢

To ensure all members are aware of our Association’s policy regarding player movement, please review the following:

If a player voluntarily leaves the Lacombe Minor Hockey Association (LMHA) to register, participate, or affiliate with another sanctioned Hockey Alberta minor hockey organization without first obtaining the required release or approval, they will be considered to have permanently withdrawn from LMHA.

As a result of this permanent release:
• The player will no longer be considered a member of LMHA.
• LMHA will have no obligation to provide future registration opportunities, evaluations, roster positions, or placement within any Association programs.

We encourage any family considering a change in associations to contact LMHA before registering elsewhere to ensure all Hockey Alberta and Association policies are followed.

🏒 July 1: Registration opens for import players, and waitlists begin for full divisions.

💲 August 1: Late registration fees take effect (+$300).

✅ September 1: Registration fees are due in full Lacombe Minor Hockey

One of our fellow female hockey players is facing an incredibly difficult journey following a recent cancer diagnosis. As she and her family seek treatment in the United States, we want them to know they are not facing this alone.
The hockey community is more than a game—we are a family. When one of us needs support, we come together.
