Ladysmith Chemainus Orcas Swim Club Our nationally successful Swim Club is about building self esteem and character through sportsmanship. Our club has a spot for kids of all ages and abilities.

We have kids as young as 5 all the way up to 18 years of age. The ability of our swimmers starts at swimming 5 m on their own up to national level athletes. The goal of our club is to equip each member with life skills while having a desire to see them succeed in and out of the pool. We travel for competitions, mainly in the Island, as well as do in house events. Registration is on going and therefore you can always join the Orcas. I hope to see you in the pool and if you have any questions please contact us!

A huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Ladysmith for giving us this opportunity throughout October!

You can support our swimmers by donating your refundable beverage containers to the Rotary Beverage Container across from Aggie Hall.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help sort on Saturdays at 9:30am. Declare your attendance and get those volunteer credits taken care of. Every donation and helping hand makes a difference.

🏊 October’s Beverage Container Proceeds Support the ORCA Swim Club!

For the month of October, proceeds from the Rotary Club of Ladysmith’s Beverage Container Project will go to the Ladysmith Chemainus Swim Club (LCSC) – ORCA Swim Club.

LCSC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting youth health and fitness through swimming. ORCA welcomes swimmers of all ages and abilities and offers programs based on long-term athlete development, while encouraging personal achievement, goal setting, self-esteem, and teamwork.

The Rotary Beverage Container is located across from Aggie Hall and is available for your refundable beverage containers.

Every bottle and can you drop off helps support local swimmers as they work toward their goal of hosting competitive swim meets right here in Ladysmith.

Curious about swim club but not sure if it’s the right fit for your child? Come give it a try - no registration required! To sign up, send us an email with your swimmer’s name and which days you would like to try.

Week of September 21

• Join our regular swim club practices for one week
• Meet the coaches and other swimmers
• Experience swim club with no commitment

Swim club is a great way for kids to build their swimming skills, stay active, gain confidence and have fun in the water. Competition is optional - kids can participate simply because they love to swim!
Swimmers should be at approximately Swimmer 3 level or above.
Come swim with the Ladysmith Chemainus Orcas and see what swim club is all about!
