Now Officially Certified as a C-IAYT! For those who are unfamiliar, there are two certification systems in North America to become a certified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist.

I completed my RYT-200 Hours through Yoga Alliance in December of 2022 to become a certified Yoga Teacher.

Officially in July 2025 I completed my two year Yoga Therapy Program through my affiliated ashram (in person in India and online modules). With this piece, I am now a fully certified Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist.

For those of you wondering, The International Association of Yoga Therapists defines Yoga Therapy as, "is the professional application of the principles and
practices of yoga to promote health and well-being within a
therapeutic relationship that includes personalized assessment,
goal setting, lifestyle management, and yoga practices for
individuals or small groups."

I am proud to be a certified member of Yoga Alliance and the IAYT.
