Both boys had a great day! We’re really seeing the progress with Gavin and that B main was the best we’ve seen him drive so far this season. He’s getting more comfortable in the animal as well and landed his first podium finish in a competitive class. Way to go Gavin!

Jackson landed himself on the podium in all three cars 🎉It’s just a matter of time (and figuring out some car adjustments) for him to land on that top step. Can’t wait to continue watching him grow and battle it out this season!

Gavin had a hard day. Some was out of his control, and some is just needing more time behind the wheel to gain that much needed confidence back.

Gavin and another car tangled on the last lap and didn’t cross the finish line, resulting in a DNF 🫤

Main:
Jr Honda A - PX to P0 DNF
Jr Animal A - P8 to P7

The Junior Honda DNF was the result of a big crash on the starting lap. There was nothing Gavin could have done to avoid it but it resulted in so much damage that it ended his race 😩

JACKSON 🔥

Jackson had an awesome day today! A few mistakes cost him in the 160 main but overall a great day and we’re seeing that fire in him to win and the speed in the cars that tells us we’re headed in the right direction!

Yesterday was our second test and tune with club race #2 at LQMA - Langley Quarter Midget Association.

We ran 5 cars for the first time and man was it a lot of work! The morning had us stressed and questioning our life choices, with things coming together a bit better in the afternoon. Here’s how the day went:

GAVIN HEATS 🔹

Junior Honda - P3 to P5
Gavin wouldn’t bumper up in this one so got himself sent to the back with not enough laps left in the race to recover.

Junior Animal - P7 to P8
This was Gavin’s first race ever in this car so although he was car 7, he started at the back as a new move up. He got smashed by another car in this race but finished the race with a bent car so are proud of him for continuing and finishing the race!

JACKSON HEATS ♦️

Senior Animal - P3 to P5 DNS
DNS means he didn’t get to take the initial green flag of the race. His chain came off and we found that the motor plate was cracked. No way to fix this in time so that ended his race.

Lt 160 - P9 to P6

Lt WF - P2 to P3

GAVIN MAINS 🔵

Junior Honda A - P10 to P9

Junior Animal A - P8 to P6

We saw improvement in both classes for Gavin’s afternoon races. He was racing with experienced kids and was proud of himself for not finishing last. Can only go up from here!

Solid drives from Jackson in his afternoon races too! He’s really figuring out the World Formula which is cool to see. With Jordan having to fix two cars from the heats to get them track ready for the mains, doesn’t leave any time to make adjustments to the other cars. Will be a time crunch all season I’m sure and is something we will have to figure out.

Next up will be our first points race of the season on Saturday May 9th!

Today was the 2026 season opener at LQMA - Langley Quarter Midget Association. The day was all about testing and tuning to gear up for this years points series 🔧⚙️

Gavin rocked it in Junior Honda today and held his own in a large field of cars!Here’s how he did 👇

The DNF in world formula sucked. Lots of damage from a wreck that Jackson couldn’t avoid, but Jordan busted his butt and with the help of Kyle Vantreight got the car fixed and ready for the main 🙏

Next weekend is club race #2 so stay tuned for more updates as the boys progress this season 💪
