Thank you for the great turnout last Thursday and thank you to everyone who participated and supported our first Practice Night Hot Meal!

This is a brand-new program for Langley Minor Football, and we are still very much in the developmental phase. We appreciate everyone’s patience, feedback, and support as we continue to learn, grow, and improve the program for our families.

We apologize to anyone who wanted additional hot dogs after we sold out. Our Practice Night Hot Meal Program is pre-order based, which allows us to purchase the correct amount of food while keeping leftovers and waste to a minimum. Please make sure you are checking TeamLinkt regularly for upcoming menus, ordering information, and deadlines.

We will continue slowly expanding the concession area and adding more grab-and-go options. If you have ideas for items you would like to see available, please send your suggestions to [email protected].

See you at our can and bottle drive, today from 12-4pm at McLeod Athletic Park - Stadium.

Langley Minor Football’s U19 team will be at McLeod Athletic Park (MAP) from 12-5 on Sunday collecting cans and bottles. They will be located in the small parking lot behind the stadium.

Please bring any empties you have kicking around! The proceeds go towards the entire organization.

If you cannot make it to MAP but wish to contribute, there are 2 ways to do so:

1. bottles can be returned to any Return-It under the phone number 604-404-4548

2. Bottles can be dropped off at any Return-It Express location. Just print off labels for 604-404-4548 at the label printer inside the depot

Many of you know Cohen from the football field.

On May 2, Cohen was seriously injured in a devastating accident and is now facing a long road to recovery. He has undergone multiple surgeries, suffered significant injuries, and is working through both the physical and emotional challenges that come with such a life-changing event.

Cohen is a member of our football family, and we’re asking our community to rally around him and his family during this difficult time.
