We have one board spot available for semi or full board, and one spot for a free lease or part lease in exchange for board. If you have a sound and sensible horse or pony that you would like to earn its keep with 3-5 lessons per week, this spot's for you!

Mako is a stunning 2008 16.3hh Percheron/QH/Tenessee Walker cross. He's chased the Kettle Valley train, carried archers and knights in armour, and done working equitation and mounted games. He has a ground-covering trot and a personality as big as he is. He clips, trailers, bathes, is great for the farrier and vet, and is a super-star on the trails. Barefoot with fantastic feet, he's an easy keeper and loves people. He gets bored doing 20m circles and responds best to an educated seat, so would be suited to an experienced rider looking to do trails or high-variety disciplines.

Special lesson horse spotlight 🦄

Today we are celebrating our beloved Winnie's 30th birthday!

Winnie (JC Windsor Wives) is a beautiful black OTTB mare who has been part of the lesson program since its conception in 2010. Before retiring from ridden work two years ago, Winnie helped teach riders of all levels and has even starred in some local music videos and photoshoots.

This gentle girl is tall and elegant, and loves attention. Even though she no longer participates in riding lessons, you may see her in the barn helping students learn how to handle, groom, and tack up a horse.
