We are extremely excited to announce goaltending-specific dryland & strength training options through our newest partnership with Coach Zak Babin . Zak has been a on-ice Head Coach with Stage One Goaltending for the last year, and will be heading the off-ice portion of our 2022 Rep Prep camps his coming August. Please visit babincoaching.com for more information & read below for more information on Coach Zak’s background:

“Zak has been actively involved with hockey as a goalie and coach for over a decade. He started his playing career with the Cloverdale Minor Hockey Association before making the transition to Junior. Zak finished his Junior hockey career winning a league championship with the Fort St. John Huskies of the NWJHL. Following his final year of Junior hockey, Zak secured an athletic scholarship to play university hockey for the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings of the ACAC. Having finished his ice hockey playing career, Zak now coaches and is a goaltender for inline hockey, where he has won tournaments playing for team Canada. Zak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Alberta-Augustana and is a certified personal trainer with BCRPA. Combining the knowledge of exercise science from his degree, his experience coaching goaltenders, and his extensive background playing hockey at high levels, Zak offers a holistic, evidence-based approach to training that is truly goalie specific. His understanding of human physiology coupled with his experience produces a position-specific training approach that translates to improved on-ice performance!”
