Meet Chandan Toor, a counsellor who works with children, youth, and parents. Chanda brings a warm, person-centred, and trauma-informed approach to her practice, meeting each client where they are in their journey.

She understands that beginning therapy takes strength and vulnerability, and she honours that by creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Whether someone is working through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, parenting, or personal growth, Chandan adapts her role to what the client needs in the moment—sometimes as a listener, sometimes as a guide, and always as a collaborative partner.

Chandan integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Play Therapy, and EMDR, to provide care that fits each individual.

She offers both in-person and virtual counselling sessions. A free 15-minute consultation is available to help determine if she is the right fit.

A new season of movement is here at Rooted Movement & Embodiment.
Our September through December schedule offers a variety of ways to move, slow down, build strength, and create space for yourself throughout the week. Whether you’re returning to your mat or trying a class for the first time, you’re welcome to join us. All of our classes are beginner friendly and adaptable to diverse abilities.

Our Slow Flow Yoga & Sound Bath returns as a once monthly extended experience, with four special classes scheduled this season. Enjoy 90 minutes of gentle movement and soothing sound designed to help you settle in, relax your nervous system, and soak in the chill vibes. These special events require a Single Event Pass, while monthly members can enjoy them as part of their membership.

And it’s back! Our Summer Series has a new name: Rooted Yoga Taster Series. Inspired by a beer flight and our love for play, each week offers a taste of a different yoga style or practice. It’s a fun opportunity to explore, experiment, and discover what resonates with you.
