The Living Philosophy: The Labyrinth
The Labyrinth is the first experience in my Living Philosophy series, inspired by the Toltec wisdom explored in The Five Levels of Attachment by Don Miguel Ruiz Jr.
This will be primarily a guided meditation experience using visualization and hypnotherapy-inspired techniques to help participants move inward, quiet some of the external noise and explore the beliefs, attachments and stories they may be carrying.
The labyrinth becomes the metaphor for the experience. Unlike a maze, there is nothing to solve. There is one path inward, a place at the centre to meet yourself, and a path back out with a deeper awareness of what you have discovered.
What participants can expect:
* Introduction to the philosophy and theme of the labyrinth
* A conversation around attachment, identity and awareness
* Guided breath and grounding
* Extended guided visualization and meditation using hypnotherapy-inspired techniques
* Time for personal reflection and integration
* A gentle closing practice
No previous meditation experience is necessary. Participants will simply need comfortable clothing, a mat and anything they would like to use to feel comfortable during the meditation such as a blanket or bolster.

Series: The Living Philosophy, Experience One: The Labyrinth
The intention is to create an accessible, introspective experience where philosophy isn't simply something we learn about, but something we have an opportunity to experience within ourselves.
