With the play-in round complete, the Draft League Sunday quarterfinals are officially set. The remaining teams now enter the most intense stage of the season, where every mistake can end a championship run. Star power, goaltending, depth scoring, and playoff composure will all be tested as eight teams battle for a spot in the semifinals.

Panthers vs Bruins

The Panthers enter the quarterfinals as one of the league’s most structured teams, built around strong defensive play and elite goaltending. Goaltender D. Geishecker-Cote finished the season with the best goals against average in the league at 4.750 and has repeatedly stolen games for the Panthers in key moments. Offensively, the Panthers continue to get production from every line, with players like C. Arnoldo and M. Danesi capable of taking over games when given space. The Bruins meanwhile have become one of the hottest offensive teams entering the playoffs. R. Ranieri, L. Folini, and Q. Joseph have all stepped up offensively in recent games, while goaltender F. Koch finished among the league leaders statistically and gives the Bruins confidence in tight defensive battles. If the Bruins can survive the Panthers forecheck and capitalize on transition chances, this matchup could quickly turn into a war.

Kraken vs Red Wings

This series may feature two of the most explosive offensive players in the league. The Kraken are powered by A. DePani, who finished the regular season with 22 goals and 27 points while consistently creating offense in transition. The Kraken offense thrives when they turn games into fast-paced run-and-gun battles, with players like S. Boulerice and N. Tzimopoulos continuing to generate pressure around the crease. But the Red Wings bring just as much firepower. A. Carboni finished the season with 35 points and 22 goals, while the Carboni duo has repeatedly connected offensively in clutch moments. The Red Wings have also shown they can rally under pressure, coming back from difficult situations all season long. Expect this series to feature offense, physical play, and momentum swings from start to finish.

Flyers vs Blackhawks

This may be the most dangerous offensive matchup of the quarterfinals. The Flyers finished atop the standings behind league scoring leader T. Baggio, who recorded 42 points and 25 goals during the regular season. A. Vieira remains one of the top playmakers in the league with 19 assists, and the Flyers depth scoring has overwhelmed teams all season long. But the Blackhawks arrive with serious momentum after surviving a thrilling overtime playoff battle. C. Stamadianos finished second in league scoring with 37 points while also recording 19 assists and 18 goals, making him one of the most complete offensive threats remaining in the playoffs. Players like G. Papadakis, A. DeSua, and M. Estrela have also elevated their game at the perfect time. If the Blackhawks can keep pace offensively early, this series could become one of the wildest of the playoffs.

Canadiens vs Islanders

The Canadiens enter the quarterfinals with confidence after proving repeatedly this season that they can win tight games under pressure. S. Freve and E. Gabrielli continue to lead the attack offensively, while the Canadiens defensive structure and clutch goaltending have allowed them to survive several dramatic finishes already this season. Their ability to stay composed late in games may become a major factor in this matchup. The Islanders meanwhile are coming off an emotional comeback playoff victory and have already shown they can respond when their backs are against the wall. Z. Giosi finished among the league leaders with 17 assists and continues to drive the Islanders offense, while T. Passarelli is coming off a dominant five-point playoff performance. The Islanders offense becomes extremely dangerous once momentum starts building, making them a difficult team to contain over a full game.

The quarterfinals are officially set — and from here on out, every game becomes one step closer to the championship.

J.Lulic Steals the Spotlight in Sekure Victory

(6)Sekure vs Les Grenadiers(3)

The B/C Thursday Division officially got underway with an entertaining matchup between Sekure and Les Grenadiers. Despite both teams arriving short-benched and not quite rolling with full line-ups, the pace and skill level on the floor never dropped. From the opening face off, it was clear that both sides still possessed plenty of firepower and competitive energy. The game stayed tight for most of the contest, with Les Grenadiers doing their best to answer every push from Sekure. However, Sekure consistently managed to hold a slight edge in ball possession and offensive pressure, eventually pulling away for a convincing 6-3 victory. While several players stood out throughout the night, the performance of the game unquestionably belonged to J. Lulic. The Sekure defenseman completely took over at both ends of the floor, delivering a dominant all-around effort. Lulic buried three highlight-reel goals, each showcasing a different level of offensive creativity and confidence. Whether it was jumping into the rush, creating space for himself, or finishing with precision, he proved impossible to contain. Beyond the hat trick, his impact defensively was just as important, as he controlled the back end and helped transition the play smoothly all evening long. Sekure also benefited from strong team play and timely ball movement, allowing them to maintain momentum whenever Les Grenadiers threatened to close the gap. For Les Grenadiers, J. Benel was their clear offensive leader and most dangerous player. Benel was involved in all three of his team’s goals and consistently created opportunities whenever he touched the ball. Even in the loss, his effort and offensive instincts stood out as one of the bright spots for Les Grenadiers. Overall, it was a strong opening game for the division, featuring plenty of intensity, skilled plays, and an early statement performance from Sekure and J. Lulic.

Last-Second Drama Leads to Overtime Heroics

(4)Assadi Consulting inc vs United(3) O.T

If the opening weeks of the season are any indication, the matchup between Assadi Consulting Inc and United may end up being one of the best rivalries in the division. In what turned into an absolute thriller from start to finish, the two teams battled through a tightly contested game that required overtime before a winner could finally be decided. Both sides matched each other stride for stride with relentless intensity. Every loose ball was contested, defensive pressure remained high, and neither team was willing to give the other any breathing room. The game was played at a playoff-like pace, with both teams showing strong commitment on both sides of the floor. What made the contest even more entertaining was how evenly matched the teams were throughout the night. Neither the Assadi Consulting Inc nor United was ever able to build a two-goal advantage, as every momentum swing was quickly answered by the opposition. Late in the third period, it appeared United was on the verge of seeing the game slip away while trailing 3-2. However, with the clock winding down and urgency at its highest, A. Ponzo delivered a dramatic equalizer with only eight seconds remaining in regulation. The late goal stunned the Assadi Consulting Inc and gave United new life heading into overtime. The extra frame only elevated the intensity further. Chances went back and forth as both teams searched desperately for the game winner while trying to avoid the costly mistake that could end it. Goaltending and defensive play remained sharp, and for most of overtime it looked inevitable that the game would require a shootout. But with only seconds remaining in overtime, P. Karvouriaris finally broke the deadlock and brought the game to a dramatic conclusion. After receiving a perfectly timed pass from C. Gingras, Karvouriaris buried his second goal of the night to seal a thrilling 4-3 overtime victory for Assadi Consulting Inc. C.Gingras quietly put together one of the most effective performances of the night, recording three points and consistently helping drive Assadi’s offense with smart ball movement and vision. Their late comeback effort, highlighted by Ponzo’s clutch goal in the dying seconds, nearly completed a memorable rally.

Devils Hold Off Furious Comeback Attempt To Edge Blue Jackets

( 8 )Blue Jackets vs Devils(9)

Right from the start, the Devils established themselves as the stronger side, controlling possession, generating quality scoring chances, and setting the pace offensively. Their passing game clicked throughout the night, allowing them to break through the Blue Jackets defense repeatedly and build a comfortable lead. Even when the Blue Jackets managed to answer with goals of their own, the Devils consistently responded and never seemed rattled. The offensive attack was led by the outstanding performances of C. Pirone, M.Porato and A. Passarelli, who each collected a bunch of points in the win. The three connected seamlessly all night, creating opportunities off the rush and capitalizing on defensive breakdowns. Whether it was setting up teammates or finishing chances themselves, they were involved in nearly every major offensive sequence for the Devils. As the game entered the final eight minutes, the Devils looked safely on their way to a convincing win with an 8-3 advantage. At that point, the Blue Jackets appeared out of gas and unable to slow down the Devils attack. But the momentum suddenly shifted. The Blue Jackets exploded offensively in the closing minutes and mounted a furious comeback attempt that nearly stunned the Devils. S. Spassatempo became the catalyst for the rally, catching fire offensively and rattling off a hat trick during the late surge. His energy completely changed the pace of the game, as the Blue Jackets began swarming the offensive zone and forcing turnovers. Goal after goal quickly erased what once looked like an insurmountable deficit. The Devils, who had controlled the game comfortably for most of the night, suddenly found themselves scrambling defensively and struggling to regain possession. What had been a five-goal lead was suddenly trimmed to a single goal as tension filled the closing moments. Despite the collapse and relentless pressure from the Blue Jackets, the Devils managed to do just enough to hold on and secure the 9-8 victory before the final whistle sounded.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Mike Porato of the Devils. In a game filled with offense and momentum swings, Porato(3G & 2A) stood out as the most impactful player on the floor and was a key reason the Devils managed to come away with the hard-fought win.

M.DaSilva Sparks Comeback As Avalanche Edge Jets

(3)Avalanche vs Jets(2)

The Jets and Avalanche battled through a tightly contested defensive matchup in a game where every scoring chance was earned and both goaltenders rose to the occasion. Both teams played with structure and discipline, limiting clean opportunities and forcing most shots to come from the outside. The pace remained competitive throughout, but neither side was willing to give up much defensively. Every loose ball was contested, every passing lane was challenged, and both goaltenders were sharp when called upon. The Jets carried a narrow 2-1 lead for a large portion of the game thanks to timely offense and steady defensive play in front of R. Ranieri. The Jets net minder made several key stops to preserve the advantage, especially during stretches where the Avalanche increased pressure in the offensive zone. Despite trailing, the Avalanche stayed patient and continued pushing for the equalizer. Their persistence finally paid off when M. DaSilva buried his second goal of the game to tie things up 2-2. The goal shifted momentum heavily in favor of the Avalanche and energized the bench heading into the closing moments. Only moments after the equalizer, the Avalanche struck again. T. Longhi capitalized on the momentum swing and found the back of the net to give the Avalanche their first lead of the game. The quick turnaround stunned the Jets after they had spent so much time protecting their slim advantage. In goal, A. Benedetto delivered a strong performance for the Avalanche and earned the win with several timely saves throughout the contest. His counterpart, R. Ranieri, was equally impressive despite taking the loss, turning aside multiple dangerous opportunities and keeping the Jets in front for much of the game. The game ultimately came down to patience, ex*****on, and late-game composure, with the Avalanche capitalizing at the perfect time to complete the comeback victory in a playoff-style battle between two evenly matched teams.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Marc DaSilva of the Avalanche. In a game defined by defense, goaltending, and limited scoring opportunities, DaSilva’s ability to capitalize in key moments made the difference.

Oilers Strike Early But Penguins Finish Strong

(6)Penguins vs Oilers(4)

The Oilers wasted little time taking control early, striking for two quick goals that immediately put the Penguins on their heels. Their aggressive fore-check and fast-paced transition game created early confusion defensively, allowing them to capitalize before the Penguins could settle into the game. After the rough start, the Penguins regrouped and slowly began shifting momentum. Their defensive structure tightened up, and they started generating sustained pressure in the offensive zone. That turnaround was fueled largely by P. Desforges, who delivered a huge performance offensively. Desforges scored twice during a three-goal Penguins run that completely erased the Oilers’ early lead and gave the Penguins control of the game. The Oilers refused to back down, however, and continued to push offensively whenever opportunities opened up. T. Acheson came through with a clutch goal that tied the game 3-3 and restored life to the Oilers bench after the Penguins surge. From there, the game turned into a tight exchange, with both teams trading a goal as momentum continued to swing back and forth. Every possession carried importance, and both sides generated dangerous scoring chances during the fast-paced middle stretch of the game. The turning point ultimately came from C. Arnoldo. With the game hanging in the balance, Arnoldo stepped up in a major way for the Penguins, scoring back-to-back goals to create separation and give the Penguins breathing room later in the contest. His finishing ability proved to be the difference maker, as the Oilers were unable to recover after surrendering the consecutive tallies. In goal, D. Apikian turned in a steady performance for the Penguins and earned the win with several key saves during critical stretches of the game. After the difficult opening minutes, Apikian settled in and helped stabilize the Penguins defensively while the offense found its rhythm. What began as a fast start for the Oilers ultimately became a story of resilience and ex*****on for the Penguins, who battled back from an early deficit and closed the game strong to secure the 6-4 victory.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Claudio Arnoldo of the Penguins. C. Arnoldo earned Player of the Game honors for the Penguins after delivering a clutch offensive performance in the team’s 6-4 comeback victory over the Oilers. Finishing the night with two goals and one assist, Arnoldo played a pivotal role in helping the Penguins overcome an early deficit and pull away late.

At the top of the standings, the Oilers and the Jets earned the top two positions and will receive byes through the opening round. Their reward is valuable rest and automatic advancement to the semifinals, where they will await the winners of the opening round matchups.

The first round will feature two compelling series.

Flames Survive Thriller, Stun Canucks in OT Classic

( 8 )Flames vs Canucks(7) O.T

For much of the night, it looked like the Flames were in complete control. They stormed out offensively and built a commanding 5-2 lead behind the dominant play of A. Henein and T. Adamacopoulos. Henein was flying early, burying two goals with his quickness and relentless pressure, while Adamacopoulos orchestrated the attack with a three-point performance that had the Canucks scrambling defensively. The Flames were moving the ball crisply, creating odd-man rushes, and capitalizing on nearly every mistake the Canucks made. Their bench had energy, their defense was active in transition, and momentum was fully on their side. But playoff hockey has a way of turning instantly. The Canucks refused to fold and erupted with an offensive surge that completely changed the game. Shift after shift, they attacked with desperation, getting contributions from all over the lineup. Different players stepped up with clutch goals as the Canucks clawed their way back into the contest. What had once looked like a comfortable Flames lead suddenly became a frantic, high-pressure battle. The Canucks eventually stormed ahead 7-6 late in regulation, completing an incredible comeback and appearing destined for the semifinals. Their bench erupted as the final seconds ticked away, while the Flames faced the reality of their season slipping away. Then came one final moment of chaos. Goodwin delivered the biggest goal of the season, firing home the dramatic equalizer to stun the Canucks and tie the game 7-7 at the buzzer. The Flames bench exploded while the Canucks erupted in disbelief at the last-second heroics. Overtime only added to the legend of the game. After both teams traded chances in sudden death, A. Henein produced a spectacular individual effort that sealed the victory. Picking up the ball in his own zone, Henein went end-to-end through traffic, slicing through defenders before driving the net. His initial chance was stopped, but he stayed with the play, grabbed his own rebound, and buried the winner to complete a hat trick and one of the most memorable playoff performances of the year. The dramatic overtime goal capped an unforgettable 8-7 Flames victory, keeping their season alive and sending the team into celebration after a game that had everything — momentum swings, late-game heartbreak, and an overtime finish that won’t soon be forgotten.

Lightning Advance After Heart-Stopping Overtime Win

(7)Lightning vs Hurricanes(6) O.T

From the opening face off, both teams traded momentum in a fast-paced, high-skill matchup that never allowed either side to fully take control. Every shift seemed to generate dangerous scoring opportunities as the Lightning and Hurricanes showcased the offensive talent that made this playoff series so tightly contested. The game quickly developed into a showcase of speed, creativity, and clutch finishing. The Lightning leaned heavily on the outstanding performance of C. White, who delivered a massive offensive night by recording a hat trick. White was dangerous every time he controlled the ball, finding soft spots in coverage and capitalizing on scoring chances with confidence. His ability to finish under pressure kept the Lightning alive during several momentum swings throughout regulation. Behind him, goaltender J. Pirrera was outstanding between the pipes. Despite facing relentless pressure and numerous high-quality chances from the Hurricanes attack, Pirrera consistently came up with key saves at critical moments. Whether it was point-blank stops during scrambles in front of the net or calm positioning during odd-man rushes, he gave the Lightning the stability they needed to survive the Hurricanes’ offensive pushes. The Hurricanes answered every challenge. M. Barone and J. Driscoll led the way offensively for the Hurricanes, each scoring twice in an impressive showing. Both players seemed to rise to the occasion whenever the Hurricanes needed a response. Their balanced attack forced the Lightning defense into difficult situations repeatedly, making the game feel impossible to predict. Goaltender A. Vernucci matched Pirrera save for save for much of the contest, delivering several clutch stops that kept the Hurricanes alive during stretches where the Lightning appeared close to taking over. The level of goaltending on both sides elevated the intensity of every scoring chance and helped create the playoff atmosphere that defined the night. With regulation unable to separate the two teams, the game headed into overtime tied 6-6.The tension between both sides was immediate. Every possession carried the weight of the season, and both teams traded dangerous rushes early in sudden death. Then came the defining moment. G. DeMarinis stepped into space and unleashed a blistering slap shot that rocketed past the goaltender and into the back of the net, ending the marathon playoff battle instantly. The Lightning bench exploded in celebration as DeMarinis played the overtime hero, sending his team into the semifinals with the unforgettable 7-6 victory. The game had everything expected from a marquee playoff matchup — elite offense, clutch goaltending, momentum swings, and overtime drama — but in the end, the Lightning found one final shot to separate themselves and keep their championship hopes alive.

The Allo Mon Coco Ste Dorothee player of the game goes to Joe Pirrera of the Lightning. In a game filled with offensive stars and highlight-reel goals, J. Pirrera’s composure, resilience, and clutch saves stood out as the backbone of the Lightning’s dramatic playoff victory.

The first round matchups are officially set in the Tuesday Draft Division, and after two dramatic opening-round victories, the Flames and Lightning now prepare for even bigger challenges with a trip to the semi finals on the line. The Lightning will take on the first-place Capitals in what promises to be a high-powered showdown between two explosive offensive teams. The Capitals enter the semifinals as the division’s top seed and have been one of the most dangerous teams all season thanks to their offensive depth and ability to score in waves. Leading the attack for the Capitals is the lethal trio of D. Carlucci, M. DiLena, and T. Carelli. Each player brings a different element that makes the Capitals so difficult to defend. Carlucci’s finishing ability and offensive instincts make him a constant scoring threat, while DiLena’s playmaking and vision allow the Capitals to generate dangerous opportunities in transition and in tight spaces. Carelli adds another layer with his speed and aggressive attacking style, giving opposing defenses very little time to recover once the Capitals gain momentum. For the Lightning, confidence will be high after surviving their thrilling overtime victory against the Hurricanes. C. White continues to lead the offensive charge after his hat-trick performance, while J. Pirrera’s strong play in goal could become a major factor against the Capitals dangerous attack. The Lightning will likely need another complete team effort and disciplined defensive structure if they hope to slow down the high-powered Capitals offense. The other semifinal matchup will feature the Flames taking on the Ducks in what could become a fascinating contrast of styles. The Ducks have built their success around defensive structure, patience, and limiting quality scoring chances. They are a disciplined team that forces opponents to earn every inch of space offensively, and they have consistently found ways to frustrate high-scoring opponents throughout the season. Their ability to stay organized defensively and capitalize on mistakes has made them one of the toughest teams to break down. The Flames, meanwhile, enter the semifinals riding the emotion and momentum of their unforgettable comeback victory over the Canucks. Their young offensive core has brought energy and speed to the lineup, but much of the spotlight will remain on A. Henein and T. Adamacopoulos after both players played massive roles in the opening-round win. Henein is coming off a legendary overtime hat trick performance and has quickly become one of the most dangerous offensive players remaining in the playoffs. Adamacopoulos continues to be a key defenseman for the Flames, creating scoring opportunities and helping drive the pace offensively. Together, they give the Flames an attack capable of challenging even the Ducks’ structured defensive system. With both semifinal under way, the Tuesday Draft Division playoffs are set for an exciting next chapter featuring offensive talent, clutch goaltending, defensive battles, and plenty of playoff intensity.
