Farewell to Jacob Halvorson (JJ) who is off to North Dakota to play baseball…..oh, and get an education!!

Jacob spend his formative ball years with BMBA before moving into our competitive stream with Black Gold 47’s. It takes determination and drive to get to this point, best of luck JJ.

We’d like to extend our congratulations to our competitive program Black Gold 47’s.

The 14U group put on a show this weekend but just came up short in the final taking home the Silver Bat at Rawlings Cup. Another successful year in this tourney for the boys from Leduc and Beaumont.

They also had huge support from our alumni head coach Liam Perrin and our BAEL players turned coaches Nash Beitz and Rylan Kehler. And of course Delton kept things calm and collected on the bench.

We wanted to give a shout out to our competitive stream Black Gold 47’s. Our inaugural BAEL (baseball Alberta elite league) 18U team finished in 3rd place this season. Huge feather in the cap for baseball in our region!
