And just like that, “Empower: Fine” is officially moved out of the beautiful building that has been our loving home. 🥲 We made sure to focus on the good side of things and have a little bit of fun while doing the Final Decal Peel 😉

That said, the Big Move Out was a tad draining (both physically and emotionally) so our team is going to take a day or two to rest and reflect. We promise not to be gone tooooo long, though! We have SO much content backlog from Showcase, Student Photoshoot, miscellaneous videos, and (of course) absolutely emotionally devastating move-out compilations 😊

Well, Showcase is behind us, the end of August is looming, and we’ve got A LOT of stuff to get rid of.

You guys have been asking if things are going to be for sale and we’ve been saying “yes, oh my god, but seriously we are drowning in funeral arrangements (aka Showcase), have some decorum.”

With that behind us, though, let’s get to the somewhat-morbid task of rehoming Empower’s earthly possessions. 🤷🏼‍♀️😅

Hey pole students! We knooooow we just had our great big last hurrah (and got some really great photos and videos during it) but we're not quiiiiite ready to close our doors just yet. And just like that, our final night of Showcase has drawn to a close. We want to give our sincerest thanks to everyone who came together with us to celebrate our students and their many achievements, and also to our students - without you, none of this would have been possible.

As promised, our final night as Empower was accompanied by glitter, sequins, laughter, cheers, tears, and (of course) a multitude of heel clacks. 😉

We couldn’t be prouder of everything you guys accomplished - you really gave it everything you had in you. We’re going to save the Big Emotions post for another time, though; for tonight, let’s wash off our grip aid, dry any lingering tears, and get some heckin’ sleep. Goodness knows we’ve all earned it 😘

Our staff and students have been BUSTING AS- *ahem* …as hard as they can - to put together a great weekend for you guys! We are SO EXCITED for them to share their achievements with their friends, family, and the community 🥹🥹

Want to come out and support your favourite pole dancer(s)? Just follow the instructions to pick up your ticket and get ready raise the roof (metaphorically) with us! 👏👏👏 (we haven’t tried raising the roof with our poles but like… we’re pretty sure we could if we needed to).

We know we say tickets will be $20 at the door, but we can’t guarantee there will be any available so PLEASE DON’T PROCRASTINATE THIS TIME if you want to be sure of a seat 🪑 in the ⭐️ room where it happens ⭐️.

🤸‍♀️WHERE ALL MY TRICK MONKEYS AT?🤸‍♀️

We know that choreography isn’t everyone’s passion (heck, choreo isn’t even all of INSTRUCTORS’ passion), but we also know that EVERYONE deserves a chance to flex! 💪

If you want a chance to show off your sick moves a in a way that doesn’t involve MOVing to the music, why not volunteer as a pole cleaner? There will be a few minutes of turnover between each routine - the perfect length of time for you to bust out a couple sweet spins or tricks - and then scoot your boot(y) up the pole to give it a wipe down for the next set of dancers 👯

We’ll also give you a chance to show off some of your harder tricks (or works in progress) with the safety of a crash mat and a spotter during our intermission. All students are welcome to bust out a couple tricks for your cheering squad during intermission, but priority pole time will be given to our beloved Chrome Cleaner volunteers 😘
