This past weekend, two of our instructors, Ms. Scotland and Mr. Nakatani, together with our General Manager, Mr. Brown, participated in the 192nd ITF International Instructor Course in Trois-Rivière, Quebec, which was hosted by Académie Taekwon-Do. The event was led by distinguished Grandmasters and Masters, including Master Gaston Casero, GM Hector Marano, GM Ung Kin Lan, GM Pierre Laquerre, and GM Clint Norman.
This event attracted 175 participants from across Canada, Jamaica, the United States, and Ireland. IICs play a vital role in enhancing both technical skills and personal growth for attendees, while fostering global unity and international cooperation within the Taekwon-Do community.
We extend our sincere gratitude for this exceptional opportunity to continue developing our passion for Taekwon-Do and look forward to future events!

Big things start behind the scenes πͺπ₯

The start of a new year often comes with fresh goals, new routines, and resolutions β and we fully support that at Champion Taekwon-Do. One of the most powerful ways to start the year strong is also one of the simplest: showing up to class.
There will be days when you or your child may not feel like coming. Life gets busy, energy runs low, and itβs easy to think about skipping βjust this once.β But itβs in these moments that something truly valuable is being built.
By showing up anyway, we help students (and parents!) develop what we call the βmuscle of habit.β This is mental discipline β the ability to follow through on commitments even when motivation dips. Itβs a life skill that reaches far beyond Taekwon-Do and becomes a foundation for success in school, work, and personal goals.
Consistency creates confidence, resilience, and trust in oneself. Each class attended is a small win that adds up to big growth over time.
Weβre proud to support you and your children on this journey, and we canβt wait to see everyone back on the mats as we begin another strong year together!
