9 years ago I took this young man, Ty Indzeoski on a first-time mentored mule deer hunt. With incredible support from his mother, Karla Indzeoski, he developed access to great hunting properties and became a skilled hunter.

One year he took me out to his access so I could harvest a deer. The student became the teacher, the greatest hunting experience ever.

He dropped his first cow elk in her tracks at 200 yards. Rick and I were honoured to be there with him.

Another great day doing a mentored hunt. This young man was a pleasure to spend the day with. It was a tough start with the low visibility but once we found the elk we were able to put on a successful stalk to 196 yards. One shot and the work began!!

Kids had a fun week. One bear died Monday night, the other Tuesday.

Labels sell products. This is one of these labels.

We've started to have frequent nighttime visitors. Most are raccoons but about once a week a black and white shows up. I'll move this one out of town so she'll never return.

Applying for licenses is starting really soon!
