Recreation Excellence acknowledges that we are gathered on the lands of the Blackfoot people of the Canadian Plains and pays respect to the Blackfoot people past, present and future while recognizing and respecting their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship to the land. Recreation Excellence offers respect to the Metis and all who have lived on this land and made Lethbridge their home.

We will be open for our regularly scheduled programming, with an added open/lane swim from 4:00pm - 7:00pm in place of lessons.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to acknowledge the day, learn from Indigenous voices, and pay respects as we continue the journey toward truth and reconciliation.
