The Miners are back on the diamond today for a doubleheader against the Vauxhall Spurs Legion A!

A split on the day at Lloyd Nolan for the Miners! ⚾️

Game 1:
The team battled hard but came up short against the Webber Wildcats, falling 6-3. Jarren Beck was strong on the mound with 7 strikeouts, while Teal’c Widmer led the offence with 2 hits. Nolan Honess added an RBI, and Tristan Koehler and Kade Hamilton each drew two walks.

Game 2:
The Miners bounced back in a big way with a 14-4 win over Webber Wildcats 18U AA! 💥
Austin Borthwick powered the offence with 4 RBIs, while Tristan Koehler and Borthwick each collected 2 hits. Declan Brinsmead earned the win on the mound, and the team showed great patience at the plate, drawing 10 walks.

A great response after a tough first game and a strong team effort all around. Back at it tomorrow against the Vauxhall Spurs!
