Congratulations Jill Lynch, Sport Tourism Canada 2023 Rising Star of the Year presented by Tourism Kingston.
In 2019 she quit her job in Calgary to take on a contract position to manage the 50th anniversary of the Southern Alberta Summer Games in Pincher Creek. Jill was then hired as the Games Coordinator for the Lethbridge Games office before moving on to work at Speed Skating Canada as Events Coordinator, where she was promoted year after year, and is now the Manager of Events and Partnerships.

We weren't able to hold our Alberta Summer Games, but we are sure looking forward to the return of the Southern Alberta Summer Games in 2022!

This is an opportunity for community sport to access financial support, needed more than ever. If you are part of a not-for-profit sport and cultural organization in Lethbridge, take a look.
