Flight Control Decoys and More

10/19/2026

Another busy weekend for Team Flight Control. One of the benefits of early mornings, are the sunrises.
Congratulations Mike on your unicorn. While Wood ducks seem to be becoming more common in Alberta, they are certainly a bird that you don’t harvest everyday, or even every year for that matter, Many Alberta hunters will never harvest one. I think Mike is already picking out a spot on the wall for his trophy.

With this year’s migration starting to amp up, it’s a great time to add some numbers to your spread. Flight Control has exactly what you need. Whether it’s FCD Headless windsocks or Big Al’s Snow goose silhouettes for snows, FCD Flocked Head Greater Canada Silhouette Decoys for darks or Big Al’s Duck packs, Flight Control has you covered.

Flight Control’s Tim Jensen and his crew in Eastern Alberta are keeping the pressure on this years migration. Tim has become a big fan of our new Flocked Head Silhouettes. Keep knocking them down guys.

Snows are arriving, don’t wait too long. We’ve only got two of these left.

A few more pictures from Team Flight Control’s Crane hunting earlier this week. It’s great to get some of the team together once a year. Learning more about each other, discussing how we do things differently and sharing what works in the field, a lot of laughs, a little teasing, all while adding to our winter supply of meat. Flight Control is truly blessed to have such a great group of hunters representing us. This year the team got a sneak peak at what 2027 will hold for Flight Control, and provided their valued feedback. As always we brought our Score along and once again it got the job done. Memories made this week will be around long after the hunt is over.
Looking forward to next year.

Well that’s a wrap on our Team’s 2026 Crane Wreck. After two straight days of limits, the birds were less cooperative today. We still managed to bring another eight home and two more Specks. Less shooting meant more stories and laughs, it was another very successful hunt. Then it was time to say goodbye, climb in our trucks and head our separate ways until next year. Special Thanks to our good friend Ron, our team members that made the trip again this year and the landowners for access to their land, and as always, Score Am******on for helping us get the job done.

Team Flight Control Day Two 2026 Crane Hunt. This time we were joined by good friend Ron, combining to stop a five man limit of Sandhills. Score am******on is the teams choice of ammo. A great Canadian company. Good times with good friends.
