It’s been awhile since we posted anything, we have been enjoying some time in the field. However it seems that the 2026 Spring Conservation Season has come to an end for Team Flight Control. Just a 109 days till we will be back in the field.
Here’s a quick look back at our spring.

Every season seems to be different, this is no more true than with spring snow goose hunting. So far this spring the magical limit hunt has eluded the Team, but opportunities to get out on birds have been abundant. We’ll take opportunity with good friends over numbers any day. Here are a few photos from another hunt last week, this time Diesel and Dale joined good friend Ron to put the hurt on those White Devil Birds.

Team Flight Control was back in the field this last week. This time it was Diesel getting in on the action, stopping some adult birds with help from his friends FCD, BIG Al’s and Score. Well Done Buddy!

BOOM!!
Memories made with good friends.
Still lots of Snows in Southern Alberta, Team Flight Control is having our best Spring season ever and it doesn’t look like it’s going to end anytime soon. Birds are scattered from the US border all the way to the Trans Canada Hiway. Get out and burn some gas, you will find them.

We are starting to get low on FCD Headless Windsocks. Get yours now and be ready when the birds arrive. FCD Windsocks come fully assembled and ready to go right out of the box. These are the choice of Team Flight Control.

Wednesday saw Dale and Ron back on the Snow Geese for another afternoon hunt. The early groups heading out to feed were once again adults, but the late arrivals to the spread were juvies. Another sign this year’s migration is way ahead of previous years. Hopefully the cold weather and snow forecast for Alberta the next few days will slow the migration down. For the third time in the last week our spread consisted of a 500 decoy mixture of FCD Headless Windsocks, Big Al’s Snow Goose Decoys and some snow goose flyers. Score Ammunition brought another 45 birds down.
