Workouts on the go!! Even when away, make them a priority. There are simple ways to get an awesome workout done in your hotel room or wherever you might be!!

My favourite equipment to bring with me are bands!! I carry 3, light medium and heavy. I can do my arms and legs and get a wicked workout in!!

Also never leave your protein powder and capsules at home!! Why fall off the wagon just because you are away?? Stay the course and you’ll be happy when you come home and hit the gym again!!

Did you know that 70-80% of our immune system can be found in our gastrointestinal tract(gut)? When your gut is inflamed it can present as different autoimmune disease, such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Crohn's, Fibromyalgia, Psoriasis,and Eczema. Inflammation also takes shape as migraines, cancer, asthma, reflux, thyroid issues, food allergies, and depression, just to name a few..

Once you develop one autoimmune disease, you are more susceptible to develop another. We must have a healthy gut!! It is SO important to our overall health and wellness! So, how do we optimize our gut flora? A plant based diet has been proven to increase good bacteria. Increasing the good bacteria and decreasing the bad bacteria is how we reduce the bad inflammation. This takes time! We didn’t inflame our bodies overnight, and we will not reduce all of that inflammation in one day either!! Consistency is key!
