The Atwood Lions have been instrumental in the development of the Atwood Lions Park, including building both the original and current Atwood Lions Pools and Pavilions, the recently removed playground, tennis courts, and surrounding park areas.

The clubs biggest annual event is Canada Day in Atwood. This event involves a parade, kids games, porkchop dinner, legends of Lions draw, live music, ball tournament, and fireworks.
