The Heritage Junior Hockey League announces that the Mountainview Colts (Didsbury, Alberta) have been selected as the Host Team for the 2027 Jr. B Hockey Alberta Provincial Championships!

The Colts will welcome the top Jr. B teams from across Alberta for five days of high-level hockey as the province’s best battle for a championship.

The Heritage Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce the addition of a new franchise for the 2026–2027 season.

Please join us in welcoming the Rimbey Royals Junior Hockey Club to the HJHL.

Based in Rimbey, Alberta, the Royals are built on a strong foundation of community support, player development, and a commitment to excellence both on and off the ice. The organization will provide opportunities for U17–U21 athletes while delivering a competitive and community-focused junior hockey experience.

We look forward to the Royals’ inaugural season and their contribution to the continued growth of junior hockey in Alberta.

For the first time in franchise history, the Medicine Hat Cubs have won the Gary Arnush Trophy and will represent the Heritage Junior Hockey League at the .alberta Junior B Provincial Championships in Lloydminister!
