Thankfully Irene was able to take these photos before the event began otherwise I would have not seen how great this turnout looked! It was a long couple of days of set up and preparation and I want to thank the Senior members of my dojo for helping as well as all others that came to town early to get the event ready on Friday!

Now that the weekend is over I need to thank the nearly 200 competitors that came to Lloydminster this weekend to support our annual tournament! Many of my own students attended and put all the years training into action! I could not be happier with the hard work they all put forth this weekend on the tournament floor.

To the over 60 black belt members who came out and volunteered their time and energy to officiate and help run this event, thank you so much! Without you all no competition would be possible at all. A true sign of the strength of our organization!

Thank you to Sensei Steuart for the leadership and guidance to myself and officials this Saturday.

I truly hope everyone gained some experience this weekend, as competitors, and as officials!
