Camrose Crossfire U13 Schafer

Great night to cap off our season with a players vs parents/siblings in a friendly game of “anything but a bat and glove”!

It was back and forth for six innings but these girls pulled off a 14-12 win to wrap up their 2026 season!

From Coach Ken: “These girls had a terrific season, growing their individual skill sets along with game IQ and team play. We had a huge challenge competing against 30 other teams to first get on the A side bracket, and then to qualify for U13A Provincials over 3 weekends of play and 17 games, needing to finish up in the top 10. These girls worked hard and not only qualified but came away 5th overall in the province at provincials. They represented themselves and our team so well, making all of us coaches and parents proud.”

These girls worked so hard this season and came together as a team, representing the City of Camrose and the Camrose Softball Association to get to U13A Provincials through 3 tough tiering weekends against 30 other teams!

We had great success over the course of the season and were so close to making the tiebreaker game to get to playoffs and a chance to represent Alberta at the Western Canadian Championships, but came up just short, finishing 5th overall in the province!

These girls should be proud and hold their heads high! They got in 42 games this year even with all the rain and cancellations, so are now ready for a well deserved rest and to enjoy their summer! So proud of this group and each of these great athletes!

What a great comeback game for our girls in game 3 of our 2026 U13A Provincials! A 3 hour / 8 inning marathon game against Calgary Adrenaline Brow where we needed extras to walk it off in a huge 16-15 win!

Tough second game for our 2026 U13A Provincials, with a rain delay Friday that pushed our game to 8AM Saturday morning where our bats had trouble waking up in a 15-3 loss to Red Deer.
