We are excited to share that our Thrift & Art Pop-Up Market will be part of our larger 3L / Jess Jones Recreation Therapy Open House on June 27.
We are currently accepting applications from local artists, makers, thrifters, collectors, vintage sellers, upcyclers, creative community members, and musicians/live performers who would like to be part of the market.
The Open House will be a bigger community day rooted in creativity, connection, curiosity, and leisure. The Thrift & Art Pop-Up Market will be one feature of the day, creating space for local vendors, artists, musicians, and community members to gather, share their work, and contribute to the energy of 3L.
Event Details:
Date: June 27
Time: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Location: 1535 North Routledge Park
Hosted by: 3L Leisure Learning Lab + Jess Jones Recreation Therapy
We are looking for vendors offering thrifted goods, handmade art, vintage finds, creative pieces, small-batch items, upcycled goods, and meaningful objects with story and character.
We are also looking for musicians or live performers who would be a good fit for a relaxed, community-centred market atmosphere.
Full Open House details will be announced soon by our media team. For now, vendor and musician applications are open.

We would love to fill this space with local creativity, good energy, music, and community connection.
Some conversations are heavy… but they feel lighter when we don’t carry them alone.
Join us every Saturday for a peer-led knitting circle where we create space for grief, loss, and the things we don’t usually talk about, but should.
Led by Sydney, a Thanatology student and 3L staff member, this is a calm, welcoming space where you can talk, listen, or simply sit quietly and let your hands do the work.
No pressure. No expectations. Just people showing up as they are.
Saturdays | 10:00–11:00 AM in person at JJRT
Materials provided for knitting, or if you feel like, you could bring your own project.✨️
Join the circle! https://www.jessjonesrecreationtherapy.ca/service-page/knitting-death-w-sydney

We’ve been really feeling the energy 3L has been building lately - and the way Cafe at 3L is growing into such a warm, community space.
There’s movement, connection, and a lot of life happening there… and we’re genuinely grateful for it!
At the centre of it all sits JJRT.
JJRT is the umbrella that holds both 3L and Cafe at 3L. While each space shows up differently, they’re all connected through the same foundation, care, community, and intentional support.
JJRT itself stays rooted in therapeutic practice and private care work. It’s the space where things slow down a little, where reflection, conversation, and emotional support are held with depth and intention.
So while 3L builds and Cafe at 3L brings people together in everyday ways, JJRT continues to hold the deeper layer underneath it all.
All connected. All intentional.❤️
