🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED🚨

Whitecaps London is looking for amazing volunteers to help us deliver one of the most meaningful weekends of the year at the Shine the Light Soccer Tournament 💜

📅 June 12–14, 2026
📍 North London Fields & Windermere Complex

Shine the Light is more than just soccer. This tournament helps raise awareness around violence against women and supports important community conversations while bringing together hundreds of athletes, families, and teams from across Ontario. Together, we’re creating a strong tournament with a strong message.

We’re looking for volunteers from inside and outside the club, students needing volunteer hours, community members, parents, players, and anyone wanting to be part of an unforgettable event 🙌

🕓 Volunteer Times Needed:
• Friday: 4 PM – 11 PM
• Saturday: 7 AM – 5 PM
• Sunday: 7 AM – 5 PM

Help us create an incredible experience for over 40+ teams visiting London this weekend 🌟

Volunteer roles may include:
✅ Field Marshals
✅ Team Support
✅ Set Up / Take Down
✅ Information Areas
✅ Tournament Operations
✅ General Event Support

📢 IVY HOWELL - CANADA SOCCER U16 NATIONAL TEAM RESERVE 📢

What an amazing last few months it has been for Ivy Howell 🇨🇦

First, a national team screening with the U15 Wales FA, and now recent recognition from Canada Soccer where Ivy was placed on the Women’s U16 National Team reserve/standby call-up list for the upcoming Poland Tour.

While not part of the final travelling roster to Poland, being identified and remaining on standby within the Canada Soccer national team player pool is still an incredible accomplishment and speaks volumes about Ivy’s hard work, dedication, resilience, and continued development.

Opportunities like this are earned.
