Sending big cheers to Richard and Andrew, and Colin and Marla who are at the Sudbury Yacht Club for the Y-Flyer Canadian Nationals! ⛵🇨🇦
Day 1 weather was a little crazy with the first race abandoned due to lightning ⚡ and afternoon racing called off due to strong gusts 💨
Hopefully Day 2 brings some better weather! FYC is rooting for you guys! Good luck!💙

Sailing for All - Able Sail ⛵
NEW DATE: Tuesday, June 23 9-3:30
The Sailing for All - Able Sail event hosts participants to come sailing with us in our specialized access sailboats. These sailboats are equipped with weighted keels so they cannot capsize.
Our goal is to provide recreation for people with accessibility needs and perhaps also begin a training program which will allow interested sailors to develop their skills and be able to sail solo.
This introduction to sailing involves rides with experienced sailors. Participants will be lifted into the boats using a davit style crane which is attached to the dock.
