Fly Fishing with Bill

Nature along the Carolinian forest on the
Thames River is the best. Today while
fishing near River Bend I saw a Osprey,
Bald Eagle, Mallard ducks, and lots of
Smallmouth bass.
The highlight of the day was while sitting
on a rock in the shade along the bank.
A large mink came out of the grasses
about 10 feet from me. As it turned towards
me it did not see me, as I was quiet and
in my camouflage waders. When it was
4 feet away our eyes locked and it quickly
retreated.
The story goes like this, if you don’t put
yourself in this position you will miss the
beauty.

Flies tied with hair extensions purchased at a beauty supply
store in St Maaerten. Over the years I have purchased about
20 bundles in many colours. Prices ranged from 1-3 dollars.
Same thing as hair from fly shops.
