Flies tied with hair extensions purchased at a beauty supply
store in St Maaerten. Over the years I have purchased about
20 bundles in many colours. Prices ranged from 1-3 dollars.
Same thing as hair from fly shops.

Summer fishing in the Thames

Highlight of the year! No photo,however here are a few other photos.
One day this summer while sitting on a rock in the Thames River during
a caddis hatch I witnessed something truly special. Just in front of me
in about 15” of water was a caddis pupa struggling to emerge. Just as
I had read about and imagined, I watched the caddis wiggling at the
surface. I saw a beautiful air bubble with wings protruding from it. After
a while it broke free and flew away to shore to mate. A once in a
lifetime experience for me.
