National Indigenous History Month is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures, voices, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. It is also a meaningful time to reflect on the importance of truth, reconciliation, and consistent action toward a more equitable future.
At YMCA, we continue to deepen our understanding of Indigenous histories, perspectives, and experiences. Through ongoing learning and relationship building, we remain dedicated to fostering spaces where Indigenous voices, cultures, and experiences are honoured and uplifted.
