📣ATTENTION BADMINTON PLAYERS📣We are excited to announce that the Badminton Club is organizing a tournament on the 24th (4:30 pm - 7:30 pm) and the 25th (12:00 pm- 7:30 pm) at the Western Recreation Centre. The deadline for registration is Sunday, March 19th 2023 and we invite all Western students to participate.

📣ATTENTION CLUB MEMBERS📣We are excited to announce our upcoming Spring Badminton Club event at the Flying Squirrel Trampoline park! This will be a fun-filled event to get to know everyone and an opportunity to enjoy an exciting time bouncing around.

This social is scheduled for Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM held at Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park (4380 Wellington Rd S, London). We encourage all our members to attend but please note that spots are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So don't wait to sign up and miss out on this great opportunity!

📣UPDATED📣Want a chance to meet more people in the badminton club? Get to know your execs better? Come out to our first social of the year! This will be held on November 27, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Fleetway London Bowling (720 Proudfoot Ln).

Due to an unexpected amount of interest, we have decided to subsidize this event to accommodate for the increased capacity. Thank you for your understanding! The event will include an entrance fee of $5.00 for all club members and there will be prizes for the winners! Please fill out the form if you are able to participate!

**IMPORTANT** Deadline for registration is Thursday 11:59 AM (Noon), November 24, 2022. Google Form must but completed in full and submitted before the deadline to ensure registration.

The UWO Badminton Club is excited to be hosting our Fall Tournament on Friday, December 2 (4:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Upper Yellow and Blue Gyms) and Saturday, December 3 (2:00 PM - 4:30 PM, Upper Blue Gym).

Hi everyone,
We just received new updates from Western Rec. They've decided to align the restart of the Recreational Sports Clubs Program (Badminton Club included) with the phased approach outlined by the Ontario Government. A copy of the announcement has been attached to this Facebook post. Therefore, Badminton Club will NOT be restarting next week but after the February Reading Week break (February 28th, 2022).
