Hi Everyone, I hope you're keeping safe and keeping your spirits up during this crazy time. Just as an update, we have officially closed all operations. With the raising insurance costs to run mobile events it became untenable for us to keep going. And now with Covid 19, it just doesn't make sense to attempt to keep going.
I just wanted to extend my appreciation to everyone who supported us over the years and for all of the positive feedback we've received about the Hood, and we received a lot. It's been a pleasure serving the London community. I also wanted to give a shout out to all of the great staff I've had over the years, without them the Hood could not have been the great venue that many of you loved to play at.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to support local small businesses. This is going to be an extremely trying time, for everyone, but many small businesses will not be able to weather the storm. It would be a shame to lose some of the great establishments that we have here in the city. If you're thinking about ordering delivery, please consider ordering from some of the smaller local restaurants. Also consider calling them first before ordering off of an app, to help with their costs. If you need supplies and are not sure whether a local store is operating, just give them a call or send them a quick message, I'm sure many of them would be happy to do a curbside pick-up or have similar arrangements.
Be good, be smart. Wash your hands and stay inside. Play lots of board games with your family. Strength in solidarity. And we can beat this thing.

Hey folks, I know we've been quite since closing the location in January but I wanted to let everyone know that we've still been active with our mobile events. As a thank you to our loyal customers, we're hosting Open Hours on Sunday, January 6th from 1 PM - 3 PM. It's $5 per player per round and you can switch between our Archery Wars (10 yrs+) or Nerf Wars (7 yrs+) activities. Each round has a max of 8 players. Players under 18 will need to be accompanied by someone over the age of 18. Drop-ins only, first pay-first play rules!

Friends, how did we get to the end of the year already?? Here we go, one last time.
This week we’re featuring Tauriel from Peter Jackson’s adaptation of The Hobbit (she is not in the original book), who appears in the second and third movies in the trilogy. Tauriel is a Silvan (Woodland Elf) and is the head of the Mirkwood Elven Guard. She first comes onto the scene after Legolas and her help save Bilbo Baggins and the thirteen dwarves from giant spiders on Lonely Mountain. Like most elves, she is seen wielding daggers as well asher bow and arrow. She uses her elvish reflexes and accuracy to aid her and her friends in times of battle, and she can fire an arrow fast enough to even intervene with the path of a slower Orc arrow.
