Tom Shamoun and his team hosted the GMA Championships at Conetoga College in Kitchener on June 6th. Many competitors, coaches and supporters cam out to participate and commingle! Congrats!

Get to London for the weekend of July 24-26 and learn much Authentic Okinawan Kobudo: 4 bo kata on Saturday and many Sai, Tonfa and K**a kata on Sunday.

There is a Meet and Greet Dinner at the Mandarin on Wellington on Friday the 24th from 7pm - 9pm. Videos and memories of Master Odo and subsequent training will be shared!

This is always a big martial arts gathering for the region! You will not want to miss it!

April 25th - Mark Yates et al (Promar Karate) hosted a great grass roots karate tournament in Listowel ON. This is always a great event for introducing budo-ka of all ranks to the realm of competition.

A sport karate event in Kithchener-Waterloo (the GMA Championships) will occur on June 6, 2026 at Conestoga College (New Location this year).

Sensei Conroy Copeland is once again hosting the Windsor Open Karate Championships on June 13th. This event is always outstanding for competitors, spectators and coaches...
