Blast from the past photo. This was a cool looking whitetail!

One thing that is hard to get perfect on a whitetail mount is the bottom lip. Today I was finishing off a whitetail mount and i wasn’t happy with the bottom lip. So I took a break from finishing it to go flesh a deer cape. As I was fleshing the cape and skinning out the bottom lip I had an idea 🤔. Why don’t I just cast this bottom lip and make a replica lip. So I did. It turned out awesome and so realistic!! I’m so happy with it. I’ll be making a rubber mold soon to cast lots of them.

I have a list to do next here so no need to ask about your mounts. I have a pile here to get done before I head out of town in May to Guide. Wolverine Rugs, lynx rugs, life size polar bear, moose, and deer.

Like i mentioned before I’ll be expanding this year for better service both in Canada and the United States.
