Our facility allows people of all fitness levels and abilities to work towards attaining their athletic, health and fitness goals.

Our mission is to provide a variety of exceptional sport and fitness experiences, efficiently and effectively through a highly competent staff, in a positive and energetic environment. The Sackville Sports Stadium is a contemporary multi-use activity complex housing a state of the art Fitness Center (complete with weight training equipment and a cardio entertainment system), 2 Pools, Curling & Hockey Arena, a spacious Child Care facility, & rooms available for public and member use.

Signup for our free summer FITeen Membership begins Monday, June 15.

In an effort to break down barriers that prevent youth from staying active over the summer, the Sackville Sports Stadium is offering a summer membership free to youth ages 12-18 years. The membership includes free access to the fitness centre, swims, and skates.

A few things to take note of:

- Free membership is valid from July 2-August 31.
- Available to youth 12-18 years of age only.
- Parent/guardian must be present at the time of signing up and is required to sign the agreement form.
- Proof of age must be presented at the time of signup.
- Orientation sessions are a requirement for anyone between the ages of 12-15. Anyone 16 and older can also sign up but it is not required.

Did you know that Indoor Cycling classes are part of our Group Exercise Program and that our Group Exercise Program is free with your membership?

We have lots of class times available to suit all schedules and are excited to have recently added 2 early morning classes:

Tuesdays 6am-7am
Fridays 6am-7am

Noon to 2 p.m. | Drop-in Basketball | Outdoor Basketball Court (Indoor if raining)
2:15 to 4:15 p.m. | Free swim at the Aquatic Centre

Field Games offers fun, active, and inclusive recreation activities for all ages. Participants can enjoy a variety of games, challenges, and team activities designed to encourage movement, teamwork, and community connection in a welcoming and energetic environment
3 to 5 p.m. | Arts & Crafts | Gymnasium
Create fun and imaginative animal crafts using paper plates, markers, feathers, stickers, and other craft supplies. Participants of all ages can design their own unique animal creations to take home.

11:30 - 12:30 & 1:00 - 2:00 | Family Guided Nature Walks
Join the Adventure Earth Team on a guided nature walk through the First Lake Trails located behind the Sackville Sports Stadium. Families will explore the trail and connect with nature in fun interactive activities. These walks are open to all ages. The group will meet on the far-left side of the building in the grass area (close to Sackville High / Kingfisher Way)
2:15 to 4:15 p.m. | Free swim at the Aquatic Centre
10 a.m. to noon | Family Learn to Canoe
Learn how to be safe on the water in a canoe as a family. Only one person in the family needs to register for this class. Each canoe can hold two adults and two children or three adults. Join us for a fun introduction to canoeing. Lean basic canoe safety and paddling techniques. Emphasis will be on fun and participation. All equipment will be provided. We recommend bringing your own PFD if you have one. Visit or phone our front desk to sign up for the family learn to canoe sessions.

Youth Leadership Program

Youth ages 13–17 can apply for the Youth Leadership Program at Sackville Sports Stadium. Build leadership skills, volunteer, join community projects, and connect with other youth. Gain experience, confidence, and make a difference.

Victoria Day - Monday, May 18

The facility (including fitness centre and arena) is open regular hours. Please note the following program changes:

Update - Morning Aquafit classes are now cancelled.

- Swimming lessons are cancelled. Open and lanes swims are on as scheduled and an additional lane swim of 4:30pm-7:30pm has been added.

- Rec programs will run as scheduled except for badminton that is held at Sackville Heights Junior High will be cancelled.

- Childcare is closed.

- Zumba 7pm is cancelled.

Did you know that with your membership you get free access to our Group Exercise Program? This includes all drop in fitness, aqua, indoor cycling, and yoga classes.

We offer over 50 drop ins with a variety of classes and times to fit your busy schedules. Starting next week, we have also added a few more to the line up:

MyRide 60 (Indoor Cycling)
Time: 6:00am-7:00am
Day: Tuesdays and Fridays

Thursdays - Power Walk (indoors)
Have fun and get your steps in with this low impact, full body workout. Designed to improve your cardio, strength, balance, and burn calories. All moves are knee and osteoporosis friendly. Great for beginners and seniors.
Time: 11:00am-11:45am
Day: Thursdays

Sunday Morning Indoor Cycling class returns to the schedule effective this Sunday (April 19).

Please note that on April 19, 26, and May 3 the class will be run from 10:30am-11:30am and will go back to 10am-11am starting May 10.
