It has been said that sports don’t build character, they reveal it. I strongly agree, and these young men are being peeled like a banana. With each week we face bigger challenges, face more adversity from our opponents as well as the difficulties we create ourselves. Sometimes we bicker, most of the time we have fun, we get mad and sad but we always have each other’s backs. This group of brothers do not work hard for themselves, rather, they work hard for each other and they are grasping that when one of us falls, we all fall. When one of us rises we rise together. I couldn’t be more proud of these young men. Yes, we waiver on and off the court, but we work hard to correct ourselves and we will not give up on each other.
I’m looking forward to the next challenge...
