Evolve Martial Arts Evolve Martial Arts is a prominent martial arts school founded in Maple Ridge, BC. We offer classes in Taekwondo, Kickboxing and Tricking.

Evolve Martial Arts is located in Maple Ridge, BC Canada. We are a family-oriented martial arts school that caters to the Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and Langley area. Our school teaches the Korean martial arts/ sport known as Taekwondo. Taek won do is a Korean Martial Arts that is broken down as the art of kicking and punching. We focus on both Traditional, Olympic style and Weapons training. We teach our students the importance of respect, self-control and strive to develop leadership and self-confidence. Our school strives to create a community where people from all walks of life feel welcome and safe as they pursue their goals.

Becoming a black belt isn't just about mastering kicks and forms. It's about who you become in the process. It’s:

🥋discipline that shows up in school and at home.
🥋focus that carries into everything you do.
🥋resilience when things get hard.
🥋respect for yourself and others.
🥋confidence that comes from earning something, not just receiving it.

That's what a black belt represents.

Our poom belts have been building that since day one, and we are beyond proud to know they’ve been working hard for the upcoming testing.

Our students competed this past Saturday at the 2026 BC Taekwondo Open, and what an exciting tournament day it was!

It was a long day with tough competition, but what stood out weren’t the medals. It was that after it was all over, our students were even more motivated to train harder and compete again.

Congratulations everyone! We are beyond proud of you all.

Please join us in congratulating Master Chung on an incredible achievement at the 2026 Pan American Taekwondo Championships in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! 🇧🇷🥋

Master Chung earned Bronze in one of the most competitive international forms events on the continent. It is a testament to his years of dedication, precision, and deep understanding of Taekwondo poomsae.

Competing against top athletes from across the Americas is no small feat, and his performance truly reflects both technical excellence and the resilient spirit of our community.

We’re incredibly proud of the discipline, focus, and respect he brought to the mat; qualities that inspire our students every day.
