☀️ Celebrating Our Summer Students & Recreation Staff! ☀️

Today we wrapped up another busy summer with an End-of-Summer Student & Recreation Staff Appreciation Lunch! 🍕🎉

This summer, the Town of Marathon was proud to employ 23 students, who worked alongside our Recreation and Public Works staff in a variety of areas throughout the community, including the Peninsula Golf Course, Clubhouse, Penn Lake, Green Space, and WTS.

While a few members of the team are missing from the photo, we want to thank all of our summer students and recreation staff for their hard work, positive attitudes, and contributions over the past few months.

Our Recreation staff truly are the backbone of so many of the programs, facilities and services our community enjoys. We greatly appreciate the mentorship and support they provide to our students each summer, helping them learn new skills, build confidence and have a positive and rewarding work experience.

We’re proud to provide local students with meaningful summer employment, valuable workplace skills, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to contribute to their community.

Thank you to our students and staff for another great summer! We wish all of our students the very best as they head back to school and onto their next adventures! 💙
