Southern Alberta's Fastest Streetcar Shootout

We have some good news and some bad news.

First, the good news: the MHDRA will be getting a brand-new racing surface in 2026, which is fantastic for the future of the facility.

However, due to construction timelines and weather constraints, the 2026 season will be shortened, and there will be no racing in August or September next year. Because of this, we were faced with a tough decision—move our race to another date, switch venues, or pause for the year.

After careful consideration, we’ve decided not to hold the race in 2026. This wasn’t an easy choice, especially with the great momentum the event has had, but we believe it’s the best decision for everyone involved.

What we can guarantee is that when we return in 2027, it will be an outstanding event.

Thanks to Hoosier Tire Western Canada for the (2) $500 gift cards. First one went to Russ Flaman for the quickest pass in eliminations with a 4.55 in his 69 GTO. The second card went to Gavin Forbes for the best reaction time of the event with a .007 light on his 07 Hayabusa.
