Gain a sound understanding of basic horsemanship! We don’t hurry through the basics to get to riding horses. We focus on LEARNING about horses, their history, how horses communicate with one another and with each of us. And we explore how horses can help us to improve our skills and build confidence by learning something new. The opportunity to learn, individually or in small groups (no more than three students per horse and facilitator) means that we can take the time to demonstrate and explain basic horse anatomy, communication and how to care for horses; all of the important skills you would need to proceed to riding, leasing, owning or working with horses, or to simply enjoy interacting with them. And…if you want to know what riding a horse feels like there is the opportunity during the last session.

Team building… but do it with horses!

✨Team building that’s memorable, meaningful, and a whole lot of fun!

We tried something a little different recently!
The challenge: a high-performing, close-knit team that already invests heavily in developing their teamwork skills through regular team activities. They wanted something different—a unique team-building experience and a fun way to celebrate a 30th birthday.
The solution? We adapted our equine-assisted team-building activities and transformed our barn into a mini escape room!
Teams worked against the clock, took on different roles, solved challenges, thought creatively, and navigated obstacles—all while partnering with a new 1,200 lb teammate. Along the way, they quietly strengthened their leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
The result? Plenty of laughter, meaningful learning, and some great teamwork in action.
