WEDNESDAY CURLING – SOCIAL & FUN! 🥌

Looking for something fun to do on Wednesday nights this winter? Come join us at the Minden Curling Club for our Wednesday Social Curling League!

This is a fun, non-competitive league — no standings, no pressure, and we don't keep track of wins and losses. Just come out, curl, meet people and have a good time!

📅 16 weeks of curling

8 weeks starting October 28
Holiday break
8 more weeks in the New Year
Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM

👥 Enter as a team or join individually!

One of the great things about this league is that teams can have more than four players. Bring 5, 6 or even more people onto your team and have your own built-in spares. If someone can't make it one week, you've got someone to fill in — or rotate players throughout the game so everyone gets a chance to curl!

💰 Cost

Individual: $250
Team of 4: $1,000
Additional team players: $50 each

Whether you're an experienced curler, haven't curled in years, or have never tried it before, this league is all about having fun on the ice.

It has been a busy summer at the club. The installation of the new insulation is complete and we have a new roof as well! A very special thanks to John Sexton and his team for all their hard work preparing and cleaning the club as this work was completed.
We are looking forward to our upcoming season! Dates for registration, our open house and Annual General Meeting will be posted soon
Look for our survey questions coming to you soon. Please take the time to complete this survey. Your input will guide our planning towards the 2027/28 season.

Despite all the renovation going on at the club, with the installation of new insulation and a new roof, the Spring Dance came together, largely due to the determination and organization of Meribeth Barron and Tracy Gaulberto and their team of volunteers. The Recycled Teenagers provided great dance music as usual, the food was delicious and all who attended had a wonderful time!

We all had a Yee-Haw of a good time at our annual Ladies Sweep into Spring Bonspiel. Special thanks to Jamie and Michele Walker for organizing the event and to Rob and Andrew Fletcher, our head chefs, for all the great food. We can't forget our bartending team of John Sexton, Bob Goss and Craig Cline for keeping the horses watered!!! Such a wild west of a good time could not happen without an amazing team of volunteers as well. Can't wait for next year!!!!
